Verve Health & Fitness is offering a unique12-week training programto help you discover the triathlete within. Designed to prepare you for the three disciplines of a triathlon, the program covers swimming, biking and running. Verve Triathlon Training culminates in mid-September, when you’ll be ready to cross the finish line of your first amateur triathlon competition!

  • Don't you need to be an athlete to do a triathlon? No. This program is designed for people who’ve always dreamed of participating, but have been daunted by the notion of how to prepare. Triathlons are for people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels, and we strongly encourage beginners.

  • I don't like swimming. Do I have to train for all three legs? Since triathlons can be approached like a relay (with three people covering each of the three phases of competition as a team), you can train for your favorite discipline and we’ll pair you with relay partners.

  • What is the time commitment? You’ll attend a small group training session three times a week for 12 weeks Beginning on JUNE 23rd, 2008.
  • I want the training, but I don't want to compete. VTC is a great way to kick your body into overall shape for summer. You certainly DO NOT need to compete in the triathlon if you are taking the program as a personal fitness challenge.
